I have met people who still think that lakes never freeze, and even if they did, people wouldn't dare to walk on them. Your photos are the material proof that not only do lakes freeze, but it is a joy to watch people walk, skate, play hokkey, go fishing,...etc on these frozen lakes. al-it actually didn't take that long to find your pics-they are beautiful-I am so envious that I didn't get to skate-finding smooth ice like that is like new pavement when you're on rollers!!!I still would love to try the chair sailing-perfect for us boomers!!will check out some of your other pics later-I am amazed at that lake-I suddenly understand why you all live there permanently-it was an AHA moment-Lynn
