These were taken with my old Chinon CM-5 manual-focus 35mm SLR camera and a K-Mart (!) 100-200mm zoom, no filters (hence the shadows and glare in the back-lit shots). This was the last time I used this camera for sports photography. I purchased a Pentax ZX-5n and better lenses and filters shortly after developing these pictures. To see the dramatic improvement in my photography, see "Beach Volleyball - Clearwater". I highly recommend the Pentax ZX-5n to all amateur photographers looking to advance their photos beyond "family reunion" shots.
