Very interesting album indeed! I love old ships and this one has earned its place in history. Pity it's a replica ... but this is certainly not in your control! Ciao Roberto

You've catalogued shiplife of the seventeenth century quite nicely. It wasn't an occupation for the fainthearted or the weakbacked. This colorful looks back was an exciting journey, and my feet are still dry! - Fred

Beautiful shots. I can just imagine the workmanship to sail a boat this size, and to keep it in ship shape. It is not light work to prepare our 26 foot sailboat before sailing and launching. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Florida. Juliette.

Hi Brian; What an interesting album. This is an incredible old wooden ship. Tall ships are among my favorites. We had many here last year that I went to see, but the lines to get on them were 2-1/2 hours wait, so I only got pics from outside. Thank you so much for sharing these. I loved seeing all of the details. Best Wishes, Marjie

Hi Brian, great photos & great detail in the rigging, glad I was not sailing the seas in those days! Recently read a book about the SS Great Britain & her emigrant voyages to Australia in mid 1800's, very interesting. would not have liked to be sailing in those days either. Eric
