  • Howdy: My name is John and I'm the guy on the right in the dyno picture. I traveled with the rotary engine virtually everywhere we raced, except South Africa at Christmas on my son's first birthday. You have several mistakes on the tags for your pictures. 1. 197 was Tommy Posey , not Johnnie Sanders. Sanders was 196 2. Jimbo was 191, you show Barry Woods, 03, in 1 picture but label it Jimbo 3. You will notice on some picturs there are no fuel filler caps sticking out of the rear shrod. These are pictures at the introduction of the engine at the Miami Marine stadium. All racing picture show the fuel filler caps. I have several more pictures from those days. John
