I would have given my left arm to be in your fifth grade class - which for me would have been 1964 - just after the last of the three big dynastys ended. You might enjoy a website entitled something like "Mantle's 20 longest homeruns". What makes it so appealing today, is that he acquired his switch-hitting prowess the hard way he earned it. To be sure those massive shoulders of his owed a lot to weight lifting, but WITHOUT steroids! There also is a special picture of him that I would love to acquire. It is not a poster, but a large reprint of a photo of Mantle completeing a swing. His form is textbook. His extension from his back foot to the tip of his bat looks to be 20 feet ! It also runs about $ 100 framed. Anyway, on with the tour.... Charlie
