Thanks for the second visit to your fabulous mountain expedition. I've experienced a 45 degree slope, in 1974 on Mt. Constance in the Olympic Mountains of Washington state. It was called 'the terrible traverse'. Ciao, Paul

This album is absolutely phenomenal!!! It embodies everything that I would have loved to do at one time. As age and bad knees prevent me from hiking, I can only enjoy it through the eyes and excellent photography skills of others. THANK YOU!

What a marvelous, exhausting, grueling, exciting expedition that must have been! To have all of you making it to the top and back down again is the best news! Not only congratulations on the climb, how you were able to take photos, and such good ones at that, is beyond me! Katherine

Thank God you guys made it. I read in the news last week about an expedition that wasn't so fortunate. That aside it must have been a thrill.

This is a wonderful album. I am a passionate mountain lover(Himalaya/Karakorum/ Pamir?Hindu Kush)and really love to see photos which capture the spirit of the land. I think this is especially so as my native Australia is a little lacking in huge, mighty, awe-inspiring peaks by comparison. Long may you climb and travel. All the best. Diana

I know that going up is difficult, but how easy is it to come down? I always wonder why anyone would have any pleasure doing this kind of thing, but then I find the answer looking back a few decades at when I end a few friends did the same but on a mountain near my town of about 300 meters high; we where young and we enjoy doing that. Today they have a narrow paved road and we can just drive there and… I do, much easier.

Hey J, I'll try this again to see if sight will allow an email address? It removed from my previous posting signature: patrickb at flash. net. That's patrick b @ flash dot net without spaces, but with typical punctuation. Thanks, patrickb@flash.net

Hey J. Esper, Congratulations! I would really appreciate your contacting me offsight, as I'd like to discuss how you did this. I have read about this more than once, but need more detail to understand how to actually approach doing it? Thanks, patrickb@flash.net
