80 of these 36" diameter buffalo medallions once lined the upper exterior grandstands of old Buff Stadium from 1928 to 1962. Many were lost when the old ballpark was torn down. This is one of the survivors.

A friend of mine from Texas has one of these buffalo medallions in his garage. He told me that most of them were bulldosed in a hole and covered with dirt. He figures that they are pretty rare to have considering the rest are gone for good. Very interesting. HG
