This particular hunt day, the water's not up high enough to warrant using the boat as a floating blind. In this case the boat is used for easier access by taking a 5 mile boat ride instead of lugging decoys and gear about 2 miles to this location and back. We are hunting on the edge of a large lake just on the other side of this penninsula.
