Album Info:
When the hull was made, it ended up coming down the rear in a 1/2" point. Too flimsy for me. I also like the swooped back look. I wanted to fill the area, so I mixed up epoxy, about 5 pumps worth, poured and the taped off the area, except for a few holes. Just as predicted, the epoxy heated up, expanded, filled the area, and then was sanded smooth. The dark coating is, yes, epoxy and cedar dust. The white tube is 1-1/4" PVC that matches my lawn mower bearings with a perfect fit.
