One of the largest yachts to participate in this year's show was the 82,5 m O'MEGA, originally built at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1985 but rebuilt in Greece during 2003. The rebuilt was done under the direction of Georgio Vafidis who was responsible for the interior and the exterior. O'MEGA is one of those yacht conversions destined to bridge the gap on the charter market between the true private yachts and the so called mini-cruiseliners.
