Departing Phoenix. 6:00 am. September 17th. Summer has cracked and the air temp is down to 70 degrees in the am, but it will still hit 100 in the pm. I'm going to Saguaro Lake. It is the lowest on the chain of lakes formed in the Salt River Canyon by a series of damns that suppply and hold all the ater for Phoenix.
