In the late 80's, Eric Beacom was probably one of the greatest skaters you never heard of. Put a board under Eric Beacom's feet, skateboard, snowboard, skimboard, or surfboard... it didn't matter. Eric ripped. He probably still does. This photo was taken in early January, 1988, at a ditch which must've been on or near the property that is now the site of the California Motor Speedway.
