The Rio Grande Golf and Fishing Club is located in South Fork Colorado across highway 160 east of Durango. This area is a beautiful valley set between tall mountain ranges and the Rio Grande River.. The Golf Course has two distinct nines. The Front nine is mostly valley bottom holes winding along the river and up over some lower hillsides. The back nine is another story.. The back nine swirls up through the canyons and hillsides to the north, culminating in the highest hole, the 17th. and this fabulous view as you circle down to the 18th. Tees. On a nice warm early fall day, if you find yourself in this area and like to golf, you should do yourself a favour and grab yourself a twilight rate at this fine golf course and have some fun. If you don't have a camera, buy one...
