04-25-1970, Montreal, PQ. Lariviere played his first 4 seasons as a junior hockey player in the QMJHL fo Laval Titan and St. Hyacinthe Lasers. He made 268 games, scored 96 points and took 442 penalty minutes during those 4 years. Many years as a tough defenseman followed in the minor leagues. Lariviere was playing for teams like Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL, the Fredericton Canadiens or Cornwall Aces of the AHL. He also spent one year in Finland and some other seasons in the IHL and UHL. Christian Lariviere is playing the Quebec Semi Professional Leagues since 2001/02, when he joined the Verdun Dragons. His career stats: GP:1239 / G:70 / A:417 / Pts:487 / PIM:1929 (current stats as of July 2008).
