This jersey was worn at 2003 Center Ice Prospect Tournament (held September 5-9) in Traverse City, Michigan (2003 Traverse City Prospect Tournament). At this tournament, he hit everything that moved and kept the crease clear. Stuck up for his teammates and helped keep the Red Wings tough guy Darryl Bootland in check. Played very good D. Didn't contribute at all offensively. He was a real presence on the ice. He played in all four games and recorded one assit and 12 PIMs. The Caps finished with 1 wins 1 loss and 2 ties and good for 4th place in the Tournament after finishing first place the previous season.
